South Africa are closing in on victory after Australia collapsed in chaotic style.
- Tourists dismissed for 99, forced to follow on
- Batters face desperate last-day survival mission
It was another infamous chapter in Australia’s history against South Africa. There was the 47 all out in the innocent days of the 2011 Test in Cape Town, the worst humiliation. There was the 85 all out in Hobart in 2016, which led to half the side being dropped. Now there is the 99 all out in Gqeberha, a day after the home side surged past 400, forcing the visitors to follow on midway through day four.
At 156 for four, still 170 behind, Australia might still save the second Test on the final day, but another batting collapse has left the door wide open for defeat, with the table stacked with the usual trappings of loss. On the 九游娱乐APP, fans are closely watching this dramatic turn of events.
